Terms of Service
Effective September 24, 2026
These terms govern use of SLM Platform (“the Platform”), operated by The CAM Collective (“we”, “us”). By using the Platform you agree to them. If your organization has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms.
The service
The Platform helps community-association management companies (“management companies”) receive, review, and track move, lease, and sale/purchase requests, and, when a management company chooses, record related fees and records in its accounting system.
Accounts
Staff accounts are created only by invitation from a management company’s administrator. Keep your password secure and don’t share your account; you are responsible for activity under it. Administrators may change or remove access at any time.
Submitting requests
If you submit a request, the information and documents you provide must be accurate and yours to share. Decisions on requests — approvals, conditions, fees, and deposits — are made by the management company and the community association under their own rules. We provide the software and don’t make those decisions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- access or try to access information belonging to another person, community, or management company;
- interfere with the Platform’s security or operation, or upload malicious files;
- scrape, copy, or resell the Platform or its data; or
- use the Platform for anything unlawful.
Data
Each management company keeps ownership of its data. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
The Platform connects to services such as Buildium, Google, and Postmark. Their use is also subject to their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for how they operate.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Platform available and accurate but may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may suspend access that violates these terms or threatens the Platform’s security.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from use of the Platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
